Light at the end....
With this just taking off I know it's going to be slow... but slow and steady wins the race. Awaiting some photo entries for this month. If none, I will be a little more commercial next month since this is just word of mouth thus far.

Photo Judging
Who judges the photos? As of now, it's me. However, I am looking to have three unbiased judges do the judging so I can eventually partake in my creation. But, if not I can deal with it.
How are the photos judged? I've come up with a point system. Top score is 100 points. Photos will be judged by the following categories.
- Is the photo Technically Correct: Is it in focus? Is there the right amount of detail? Is it over exposed, underexposed? (20 available points)
- Does it represent the Subject Matter? Does the photo fulfill the given assignment and requested requirements? (20 available points)
- How is the photos Composition? Is the photo visually appealing. Do all of the "ingredients" of the photo work together to make something great? Or, does the eye get lost/distracted in other details? (20 available points)
The Break Down
20 - Technically Correct
20 -Subject Matter
20 - Composition
40 - Wall Worthy

R & D Continues...UPDATED
Looking for feedback and some ideas while getting this thing off the ground. Still thinking about the entry fee to make it feasible for people to want to submit and win a little money. The PayPal cut is making it a bit of a challenge to keep it worth wild at $0.99. More than likely, I will raise the entry fee to $5 or $10. Of course I'm still doing some research and development for the remainder of this month.
I've recently sought thought's and opinions from current Flickr friends. Will keep everyone posted as this thing grows. Check back soon.
UPDATE:
March Entry Fee is set to $5.00 (US) per photo entry.
Inaugural Entry!
Entry 1 - Heavy Chevy in HDR by Jimmy Batte
This is the inaugural entry. Because it is mine, it's disqualified, I CAN'T WIN. It's my website, and I'm fair, not a crook!

Because I believe in what I am doing, this automatically means with just one other entry, that person will be guaranteed the winning prize of $8.56. What are you waiting for?
Entry/Winning Photo Page Created
I have also created a Winning Photos page to allow for everyone to checkout the list of soon to be growing winners.
"Ponie Up" Photo Ponie Entry Fee
Along with requiring a Flickr account to participate, I am also requiring submitters to have a PayPal account. This will make it easy for me to collect and award prize money. When submitting your fee, please provide me of your Flickr screen name. I will need this in order to invite you to join the private group. If I do not get your screen name with payment I will attempt to email you for retrieval. You will then be sent an exclusive invite to the "Photo Ponie Paddock" (Private Flickr Group) to submit your desired photo(s).
The submission fee is ONLY $5.00 (US) per photo.
Thats an astounding 1 in 10 chance to WIN!
If you submit the limit of two... it's 2 in 10 chance to WIN!!!

Please Note: PayPal takes $0.30 + 2.9% from the submission fees for processing.
The Break Down
$5.00 per entry X 10 entries = $50.00
$50.00 - (PayPals 2.9% + $.30) = $1.75
$50.00 - $1.75 = $48.25
48.25 70/30 (Prize/PhotoPonie) Split = $33.77
$33.77 Prize processed to winner via PayPal (2.9% + $0.30 ($1.27)) = $32.50
Total Prize $32.50
(All noted $ is US currency only)
